I have just had an amazing week with one of my clients. Almost 12 months ago she came out to me to show me how to get my baby to sleep – instantly I saw the potential she had to use my AMP (Authentic Marketing Profit System) to expand her income and put a solid back end in to her business – we got started a little over 5 months ago and over the weekend she made her first passive income sales! Actually over a couple of hundred dollars worth… and the product isn’t even on her website as yet. I will discuss this more in detail as we go on.
When I first met Emma I had shut my business down - at 28 years of age my world was falling apart in less than 6 months:
- my dad had died,
- my 12 year relationship ended,
- I had been forced to relocate from the town and friends I so loved, and
- I had a new baby!
It was cocoa bananas, how I didn’t go insane is beyond me! It was Emma that inspired me to get off my butt and back to work. When I sat and spoke to her about securing her income and trading less time for money – she LOVED the idea.
It was my own personal experience that solidified the importance of having alternative income streams in place and also taught me that despite having a head full of knowledge, it was useless unless it was packaged and available without me being present!
It’s been quite a way in – we only started about 5 months ago – the first 3 months were spent growing a Facebook Fanpage following and we haven’t even began to implement any of the other Global Marketing Methods as yet (see reference image).
When I first decided to ‘work from home’ I didn’t even know the “Expert Industry” existed and had no idea people actually made money from their passions! When I learned about Online Marketing – one of the trends I recognized was that “Experts” “Leaders” “Gurus” and “Teachers” were creating phenomenal businesses sharing their information. Of course over the years I have studied under phenomenal leaders in this field such as Eban Pagan and Brendon Burchard and learned a lot more on the subject.
In a nutshell though, I realized that my passion for online marketing could help other people get more exposure for their businesses and as a united team we could positively influence a global audience! No, I am not a Millionaire yet and I am in the process of putting this system together for myself – in between helping others do it for themselves – it is quite a process but I want to share the strategy and method that we’re using with you.
What happens to your money if you don’t go to work?
This is a serious question and deserves an honest answer.
When my life fell apart and I shut down my business I got a major wake up call! I became a single mum living off welfare (which is awful and doesn’t go far at all) and that’s when it hit me like a ton of bricks. The day I stood on the steps leading in to the welfare office holding my 6 week old daughter with tears streaming down my face I was SO ANGRY! So angry that I knew all this stuff yet failed to implement it and so took for granted the comfortable lifestyle I had become accustomed to. Of course when I had kids, I would have so much time on my hands to build an empire – does that sound familiar?
I guess it happened for a reason and to be honest – now I am thankful for the experience. I now feel that it is my mission to help passionate people share their knowledge with the world – it excited me and get’s me out of bed with a smile! Knowing that we are able to make a positive impact on the world! It is also one of the reasons I created Women’s Web Marketing, I had come to learn that there were so many Women wanting to use the Internet to share their message and promote their businesses but were really struggling with the ‘how tos’!
I have learned that You can not afford to rely on anyone else for this stuff! If you’re in business and you have a skill – I want to help you become the ‘go to diva’ girl whatever – because it’s true – when you position yourself as THAT PERSON – the leader – the doors to abundance and opportunity swing on open – providing you’re offering a valuable product or service to an interested audience.
Now back to Emma – What we did and how we did it!
In a nutshell Emma is a Child Behavioral Specialist with her main income being derived from Baby Sleep Consults. What I did is position her online as the ‘go to’ guru for baby sleep – at the time she didn’t necessarily consider herself a guru – but now she realizes she definitely is and in her own right!
What you do so well you will probably take for granted! Those thing’s that are SO EASY for us others DO struggle with – yet we don’t recognize our own gifts, strengths and talents because they come so easily for us!
Of course Emma also offers other things but we had to giver her a core focus of her business for the purpose of on-line positioning – so the baby sleep is the main draw card but it is made obvious throughout her marketing that she does in fact offer other services.
Her first product is a baby sleep CD. She went to an outsourcing site called Elance - she posted a job for someone to create tracks for white noise baby sleep sounds, she awarded the job, got the tracks and with my help has packaged them to sell digitally and on disc. She now has a product that will make her money while she sleeps.
Other factors will come in to play – and it takes on a life of it’s own. Once the products are created and on-line you need to get website traffic to increase sales. This can include doing thing’s such as:
- Article Marketing
- Search Engine Optimization
- Publishing books
- Video Marketing
- Viral Marketing via the Global Marketing platforms and a whole host of other methods.

The main point to ponder is – that when positioned as a leader and providing valuable content people will get to know, like and trust you and want to buy from you. It’s a powerful process .
